Think Computer Corporation has released a set of libraries called Lampshade that drastically accelerates the process of developing LAMP-based applications.

Lampshade comprises over 130 functions that take care of commonly needed tasks such as form error checking, MySQL database record inserts updates, and user authentication, saving developers from having to re-invent the wheel each time they start a new project. All of the functions are heavily documented on Think’s site.
