KnowledgeTree Goes to Zend for CMS Performance Zen

By Scott Clark
on September 21, 2009

Open source, PHP5-fueled Enterprise CMS vendor KnowledgeTree announced its embrace of the PHP-driven Zend Technologies in a partnership that aims to increase speed and performance of KnowledgeTrees products.

Part of the partnership revolves around the forthcoming version 3.7 of KnowledgeTrees on-the-premise commercial edition (due in Q4 2009) being deployed on Zend Server.

With KnowledgeTrees main focus on document management, you may want to consider that KnowledgeTree gets a boosted infrastructure (and, supposedly, less support costs) offering with Zend. Think of code acceleration and caching that can help improve performance and lower resource utilization for your web applications.
