I recently wrote a freeware application for the Macintosh (I’m working on a PC version, so please don’t flame me!) which acts as a text editor, but has unique functions which insert PHP code into your open document. It has preset HTML entities for IMG tags, Text Fields and more. Everything is in PHP syntax.

This app was a test for a larger app that I’m writing which will allow users to write their own data types for quick insertion of code. I’m putting a preview movie for that app on my site very soon.
