but you need to remove or edit the address to his server

I installed xampplite and copied the html from page 1 into a file called getajax.php in htdocs and removed his server address

then I put in "localhost/getajax.php" in my browser and the page came up - I entered a code and tabbed out of that field, which causes the XMLHttpRequest to run

it filled in the textarea with the page source, and redrew the page inside the table cell and the div as described

it's important to remove or change the address of the page because XHR will only return data from the site the calling page is hosted on

it works, just try a little harder
