By: Jason Subject: RE: Is ther something wrong with this method? Hi, I tried using the method above and it didn't work the way I thought is would. I made a simple form page where I entered the date and it would perform the date calculations. The gmdate and gmmktime already take UTC into account so when you add the offset it changes the time to something other than GMT. To fix this I changed to using date and mktime. Seems to work. Also, I tried using the TIMESTAMP field in MySQL and it is the same as a DATETIME field. That is no help. I am going to try using a simple int field. Jason |
