Subject: php image loading

i have two problems actually.one:how can i write scripts to load images on my form online assuming i have a student registration form with a persons details including his/her picture to be entered.
two:how can i do batch processing assuming i have an online and offline version of my app. and will like to load data to my databases after i have saved in the offline version and am online using php and mysql
