Subject: Can't open stream

Can any one tell me the proper syntax of opening the mail server. I have gotta main linux mail server(IP1) which is in network with another linux server (IP2). I have configured a email(mail2@in.company.com) for IP2 and using Kmail at IP2 i can see all the mails sent at mail2@in.company.com.

Now my requirement is to read all the mails sent at mail2@in.company.com through IMAP. My PHP script is at IP2.
Please suggest how shud i go for it...
