But, if you have a timezone table (iso3166) and a users table, where you can run natural joins, you can find out if the user has 1 or more TZ for his/her country.. if > 1, show dropdown list with TZ.. else, select TZ as default.. Then you use the putenv.. but, what about the mysql?? You need to run a date command with the difference from the php and mysql timezone in your queries.. quite easy actually.. |
