By: Malph Subject: RE: PHP is slower than HTML I did the same thing with my web page and found that if you are using include you should give your files the extension htm or xml or txt if you use the php extension it will try and execute the php as script wich creates additional processes on the server and slows down the process the upside to not doing it that way is any php code contained within the executed files will still be executed without fail and much faster. My explenation on why it is slower is as far as I know bull but it sounded good to me while i wrote it and it might actually be correct. I don't know I'm not one of the language coders. |
