In this case you can take the last record using order by clause.

for eg:
if your query is
SELECT TOP 1 Name1, Name2 FROM TABLE WHERE ID = 1 order by Name1
then to get last record it would be
SELECT TOP 1 Name1, Name2 FROM TABLE WHERE ID = 1 order by Name1 desc
