The data being stored is not arbitrary. Once you have decided what data you currently collect and implement this into those systems what occurs is over time you gain a clear picture of who the return visitor is. This enables you to suggest information to a visitor with out asking that visitor to sign up or otherwise overtly provide you information. Most visitors are reluctant to provide this type of information. |
